MDC's Butterfly Valves with 3/4" to 2" (19.05 mm to 50.8 mm) ports are designed for rapid open/close functionality using a quarter-turn handle. These low-outgassing valves feature an innovative sealing mechanism, where the flapper is slightly off-center and mates with an angled bore to create uniform sealing pressure. This eliminates O-ring abrasion and seal distortion common in older designs.

The 1–1/3" Mini CF flange variant uses a spring-loaded ball bearing stop, while larger sizes employ a roll pin stop. Internal surfaces are precision machined from solid 304 stainless steel bar stock, ensuring durability and minimal contamination. A small shaft O-ring prevents leakage, while the aluminum handle adds ergonomic control. Valves are available with either Del-Seal™ CF flanges for UHV metal sealing or Kwik-Flange™ KF flanges for O-ring vacuum sealing.
