MDC’s 4 Inch Gate Valves are precision-engineered for high vacuum (HV) and ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) applications where flow control, reliability, and cleanliness are critical. Made from durable 300-series stainless steel, the fusion-welded body ensures leak-tight performance and low outgassing, meeting the rigorous standards of semiconductor manufacturing, scientific research, and industrial vacuum systems.

These valves control gas or material flow by fully opening, closing, or sealing vacuum lines, while MDC’s proprietary C-Loc® and Uni-Loc™ locking mechanisms ensure vibration-free engagement. These locks eliminate direct contact with the valve body, extending valve service life and reducing wear.

With 50% fewer moving parts than conventional gate valves, MDC's design minimizes particulate generation, making them ideal for cleanroom and contamination-sensitive environments. UHV valves series has integrated AM-350 stainless steel welded bellows and dry film lubricated bearings provide superior sealing and long cycle life under rigorous conditions.

HV series valves have excluded the welded AM-350 stainless steel bellows. This simplified construction lowers maintenance requirements and overall system costs, supporting efficient, long-term operation in high-performance vacuum conditions.

Available with Conflat 6" (152.4 mm) flange, ISO NW100 Large-Flange™ (101.6 mm), and ANSI ASA4 (101.6 mm) port connections, MDC’s gate valves also support manual and electropneumatic actuation. Optional custom configurations address unique performance needs for specialized systems.
