MDC high temperature standard rotary motion feedthroughs are designed for ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) applications requiring sample or device rotation under elevated temperatures. These robust components are constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel, enabling bakeout temperatures up to 230°C (446°F).

Rotary motion is measured on a 360° laser-etched barrel, graduated in 5° increments for accurate, repeatable positioning. A welded stainless steel bellows paired with a proprietary off-axis wobble design and rotary shaft bearing supports ensures long-term reliability, even in thermally demanding environments.

Extended length models include bearing-fitted shaft support guide tubes to enhance rigidity and maintain precise motion across larger spans. All models are available with industry-standard Conflat® CF metal seal flanges, making them fully compatible with UHV systems.
