Water – VCR® Feedthroughs are designed to transfer coolant efficiently into high vacuum environments, protecting critical components during electron beam evaporation processes. High-density electron beams generate heat to evaporate Alumina ceramics, making water cooling essential to prevent damage to evaporation crucibles and electromagnetic coils.

MDC Precision offers these feedthroughs in three vacuum mount styles: Conflat® CF, ISO NW Kwik-Flange™, and 1 inch (25.4 mm) Base Plate. Additionally, Liquid Feedthrough tube kits are available for direct welding into a customer’s chamber or custom flange, supplied in weld-tube form only without fittings.

Vacuum mount water feedthroughs are built with 0.25 inch (6.35 mm) diameter Type 304 stainless steel tubing and equipped with 0.25 inch (6.35 mm) male VCR® metal gasket seal fittings. Mating VCR® female nuts and copper gaskets must be purchased separately.
