The Magnetic Transporter by MDC is engineered for accurate and contamination-free sample transfer between HV or UHV vacuum chambers. It enables manual or motorized linear motion of 12", 24", or 36" (304.8 mm, 609.6 mm, or 914.4 mm) and 360° continuous rotation when used unguided. The motion is magnetically coupled via an external actuator sleeve, providing sealed operation without mechanical shaft penetration. The internal transport shaft is supported by either Vespel® or stainless steel linear bearings, ensuring smooth, stable travel. Optional linear guide rods restrict rotation during linear movement and add precision. For advanced sample handling, these transporters are fully compatible with Cab-Fast® and Auto-Dock™ accessories (sold separately). The unit is constructed from HV/UHV-compatible materials, bakeable to 392°F (200°C), and mounted via Conflat® CF flanges.
