The Triple Axis Standard XYZ Stage from MDC is designed for applications requiring large bore access, long Z-axis travel, and precision positioning in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments. The XY axes offer smooth micrometer-driven travel with ±0.50" or ±1.00" (±12.7 mm or ±25.4 mm) of motion, guided by cross roller bearing slides for precise control. Unique laser-etched scales on the micrometers indicate direction and displacement clearly. The Z-axis features a worm gear reduction drive with handwheel operation, supporting linear motion up to 12" (304.8 mm), tracked by an integrated machinist’s scale with inch and millimeter readings. The stage is available with bore diameters of 1.50", 2.50", and 4.00" (38.1 mm, 63.5 mm, and 101.6 mm) and mounts to standard Conflat® CF flanges for seamless UHV integration. All models are constructed from UHV-compatible materials, feature welded stainless steel bellows, and are bakeable up to 446°F (230°C).
