MDC's Bourdon Gauge uses a deflection-based mechanism to accurately measure true system pressure, independent of gas type. Pressure causes the Bourdon tube—available in C-tube or high-sensitivity helical designs—to deflect, allowing for precise readings. This gauge is optimized for rough vacuum applications ranging from 30 inches of mercury (−1 bar) to +30 psig (+2 bar). It is not suitable for pressurizing vacuum chambers or components beyond vacuum service limits.
