MDC’s Male Wire Seal Flanges are engineered to provide a robust and reliable metal-sealing solution for large-diameter ultra-high vacuum (UHV) chambers. Designed specifically for nonrotatable configurations, these flanges accommodate tube sizes ranging from 10 to 24 inches(254 to 610 mm), making them ideal for large vacuum systems used in research, industrial processing, and high-tech manufacturing.

Each flange is precision-machined from 304 stainless steel (304ss) and uses a 2.03 mm (0.080 inch) cross-section OFE (Oxygen-Free Electronic) copper wire gasket to form a metal-to-metal seal when mated with a corresponding female flange. MDC offers both flat blank and dished-head blank options. The dished-head design is particularly beneficial for applications where reduced weight is essential, without sacrificing structural integrity or sealing performance.
