MDC baseplates are essential components for the installation of bell jar vacuum systems and feedthrough collars, forming a flat and stable foundation for vacuum chamber setups. Designed to be mounted directly onto a vacuum pump or a gate valve, these plates ensure mechanical stability and vacuum integrity.

To match a variety of system configurations, MDC offers three interface flange options for pump or valve connection:

Conflat® CF metal seal flanges
ISO LF bolt-style Large-Flange™ elastomer seal flanges

Baseplates are available in sizes suitable for chamber diameters of 12 in (304.8 mm), 18 in (457.2 mm), and 24 in (609.6 mm). Constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel, these baseplates include a machined elastomer seal surface for reliable vacuum sealing.
