The Rotary-Linear Direct Multi-Motion Feedthrough is a cost-effective, manually operated solution for vacuum systems requiring both linear and rotary motion. Offering continuous 360° rotation and 8 inch (203.2 mm) of linear travel, this device delivers up to 100 lb-in (11.3 Nm) of manual rotational torque. The rotary shaft is supported by dual phosphor bronze bearings and sealed with dual Viton® elastomer shaft seals. For ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) compatibility, the space between the seals can be differentially pumped via a 1/8 inch (3.18 mm) female pipe thread port, achieving pressures down to 10⁻⁹ Torr. These feedthroughs are available with either 2-3/4 inch (69.85 mm) Conflat® CF flanges or ISO KF NW40 Kwik-Flange™ mounts, providing flexibility for integration into a wide range of vacuum systems.
