The Rotary-Linear Precision Multi-Motion Feedthrough combines high-resolution rotary and linear motion in a compact, ultra-precise UHV-compatible actuator. It offers continuous 360° rotary motion with a display resolution of 0.1°, and linear displacement up to 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) with 0.001 inch (0.0254 mm) resolution. A full revolution of the linear drive delivers 0.025 inch (0.635 mm) of linear travel. This feedthrough is engineered with low backlash mechanics, welded stainless steel bellows, and a unique off-axis wobble design for exceptional smoothness and longevity. The entire linear mechanism rotates with the rotary drive, which should be considered in system design. Motorization options are available for both motion axes (motor controls sold separately), and the unit mounts to 2-3/4 inch (69.85 mm) Conflat® CF flanges.
