Replacing conventional mounting tables, this stage features a worm gear drive mechanism, providing a high mechanical advantage for smooth manual operation even under heavy load or vacuum. It supports manual or motorized actuation, including high torque stepper motors, for enhanced flexibility. Designed to rotate heavy samples or assemblies, the stage uses dual spring-energized PTFE face seals with differential pumping provisions, ensuring reliable operation in bakeout conditions up to 392°F (200°C). The unit integrates seamlessly with vacuum systems using Conflat® CF-compatible port flanges.
