The Type-C Instrumentation Multipin Feedthrough is the latest addition to MDC’s glass-ceramic, hermetically sealed feedthroughs. Designed with a circular 9-pin geometry, this connector is ideal for applications where space is limited or where conventional Subminiature Type-D connections cannot be used.

Its compact design allows installation into small vacuum flanges, including the 1.33" (33.8 mm) Del-Seal™ (DN16 CF) and K075 (NW16 KF) elastomer-seal quick flanges. Each of the nine gold-plated pins is hermetically sealed and electrically insulated in a stainless steel shell using advanced glass-ceramic bonding.

The Subminiature-C air and vacuum side connectors are secured with stainless steel socket head screws, ensuring reliable connections. Vented screws are included where required, and the mating-screw boss functions as a polarizing key. Pin assignments are permanently marked for easy identification.

MDC offers two standard vacuum mount styles: Conflat (CF) and Kwik-Flange™ (KF).
