Water – Tube Weld Feedthroughs are engineered to transfer coolant safely into vacuum environments, ensuring the protection of heat-sensitive components. In processes like Electron Beam evaporation, water cooling is essential to prevent damage to evaporation crucibles and electromagnetic coils used for containing molten alumina and focusing electron beams.

MDC Precision offers water feedthroughs in three vacuum mount styles: Conflat CF, ISO NW Kwik-Flange™, and 1-inch (25.4 mm) Base Plate. In addition, Liquid Feedthrough tube kits are available in weld-tube form only for direct chamber or flange welding, supplied without fittings.

Vacuum mount water feedthroughs are constructed with 0.25-inch (6.35 mm) diameter, Type 304 stainless steel tubing, and are offered with three fitting options: plain weld-tube, 0.25-inch (6.35 mm) Swagelok® compression fittings, or 0.25-inch (6.35 mm) male VCR® metal gasket seal fittings. Mating VCR® female nuts and copper gaskets must be purchased separately.
