MDC Weldable Components provide flexible, modular solutions for building and customizing high or ultra-high vacuum systems. These MDC-Weld™ fittings—including elbows, tees, and crosses—are fabricated from Type 304 stainless steel tubing and supplied without flanges, enabling direct integration through welding, brazing, or soldering. Available in shrink-wrapped, vacuum-ready packaging, they are optimized for cleanroom handling—bare hand contact should be avoided to preserve vacuum integrity. The tubing is hot-drawn and welded over a mandrel, with a visible seam. Tube specifications are based on O.D. and wall thickness; I.D. is theoretical. Machined lengths, special finishes, or electropolishing are available by special order.
